The proposal is for a new build mixed-use development in the heart of Rush Common Conservation Area.

Picking up on the rhythm of the double-fronted properties, we proposed a lightweight filigree screen of Corten Steel that picks up on the rhythm & scales of the two buildings adjacent to sensitively mesh into the conservation area.

The Internal mixed-use programme allows for a commercial base with a basement, to be used as a co-working space, with two Co-living units above.
The filigree screen creates a loggia to allow private outdoor space for each en-suite bedroom, that buffers the rooms from Brixton Hill, whilst greening allows for the greening of the façade.
The project is currently in pre-planning stages.
