The proposal is for a 6-unit new build scheme on a backland site in Croydon,
The site at Lonsdale mews was a contentious one. Having been refused twice at pre-application with previous architects, the client came to us to see if the site was a viable prospect.

Through careful negotiation of the narrow site, we developed a sensitive development of varying scales that responded well to the long vista of Brooklyn Road and scaled down to a low-key mews development to the rear.
The chamfered brick and brick patterning picked up on the historic Brickfields in the area.

The proposal won approval despite local resistance due to the robust design and analysis carried out.
The project is currently going through tender design.
